Take-back program for carpet tiles

At ANKER, sustainability is not just a buzzword, but a central part of our business model. Our “Revive Tiles” program underlines our commitment to reducing waste and promoting a circular economy. With this take-back program for carpet tiles, we offer our customers the opportunity to actively contribute to the conservation of resources.
Focus on sustainability

Our carpets are made from recycled materials such as Econyl® yarns, which are made from 100% recycled polyamide.
We also use high-quality New Zealand wool and solution-dyed yarns, which are UV-resistant, color-fast, robust and hard-wearing. Thanks to these materials, our floors are particularly durable – up to 20–30 years for woven fabrics with Econyl® yarn in the pile.
“Revive Tiles” is our contribution to a sustainable future and a resource-conserving circular economy.
Evaluation of the goods
In addition to reuse and full recycling, our program offers further sustainable recycling options for carpet tiles at the end of their life cycle:
Second-hand use: tiles in good condition are cleaned and passed on to social institutions or for projects with low-quality requirements. This extends their life and saves resources.
Partial recycling: certain tile components, such as polyamide yarns, are recycled, while others, such as the tile backing, are used in the cement industry.
Thermal recycling: non-reusable tiles are used as fuel to generate energy and reduce CO2 emissions.
Before being recycled, the tiles are inspected by experts and categorized accordingly. The service also applies to products from other manufacturers and ensures that the tiles do not have any unusual soiling.
