Our aviation carpets are produced under strict regulations (EN: 9100:2018 & DIN EN ISO: 9001:2015) and we only use materials that meet the approval requirements - this also applies to the equipment with which our textile flooring is installed. tesa® flameXtinct 45020 meets all these requirements. It is flame-retardant and has low toxicity. But it gets even better: the mounting tape is free of halogens and antimony trioxides - verifiably so. Thanks to its certification. This means less smoke and fire gas in the event of an emergency.
These properties are a pretty good reason for us to recommend it for the installation of our carpets in airplanes.
