EXPO-Carpet World EXPO 1958, Brussels

A true masterpiece of carpet weaving – this is the EXPO carpet designed by Professor Margret Hildebrand and produced by ANKER for the German Pavilion at the 1958 World Expo in Brussels.

8 m x 3 m in size, 4-pile jacquard weave and with a pattern without a repeat, the carpet showed almost 70 years ago how timeless modern design can be in interior design.
