Weaving expertise meets hands-on practice
Last week, our installation technician Detlef Simons and field sales representative Wolfgang Weerts led an intensive workshop at W. & L. Jordan in Münster—and it was all about getting back to the essentials of working with authentic woven carpets.
Together with experienced flooring professionals, we covered:
- Precise edge-cutting techniques using our PERLON RIPS—a product that's been setting standards for decades
- Proper cleaning and maintenance methods for woven flooring
- Real-world questions from daily installation practice
What made this workshop special wasn't just the technical know-how shared—it was the collaborative atmosphere and the valuable exchange between our team and the craftspeople who bring our products to life every day. As one of the last European carpet weavers and a family business with over 170 years of history, we know that quality craftsmanship doesn't stop at production. It extends to every installation, every project, and every detail. That's why knowledge transfer like this matters to us.
Interested in bringing this kind of hands-on training to your team or region? We'd love to explore how we can support your professionals with the expertise they need to excel with woven carpets.
