REFERENCE REPORT
ENTEGA AG Darmstadt

As a producer of renewable energy, ENTEGA AG supplies the region of Darmstadt with electricity.
The company's efforts to act ecologically and resource-conscious have not only been recognized with the German Sustainability Award, but are also reflected in the new LEED Gold-certified administration building for its subsidiary Count+Care in Darmstadt, which combines sustainability requirements with the demands of a modern working environment.
The five-storey building, with its oak façade and energy-generating shading elements, uses environmentally friendly materials and energy concepts. Designed by SHP Architects, the new building's 11,300 m² of interior space includes a conference zone, a fitness area, a bistro, and a childcare center. The almost 5,200 m² of office space is kept simple: Exposed concrete and wooden fixtures dominate. The open, bright interior design is accentuated by NEBA from ANKER. The tufted loop pile carpet in gray (575) blends in harmoniously – and, thanks to its Econyl® yarn, makes an additional contribution to sustainability.
