Creating the perfect setting for special events – the new press and media center at the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Düsseldorf shows how it‘s done. 

In addition to customizable surfaces with movable furniture, high-quality materials were used to ensure the appropriate quality and aesthetics. Also in the game: AERA BIGLOOP from ANKER.

The Merkur Spiel-Arena is not only the home ground of Fortuna Düsseldorf – it is also one of the largest stadiums in the country. And as such, it was one of ten venues for UEFA Euro 2024. For this major sporting event, the multifunctional building was given a new, equally versatile press and media area. However, in­stead of a new building, the operators opted for a more sustainable solution.

The little used underground parking lot of the arena was convert­­ed into an exclusive event area. A 1,400 m² event location with two separate areas was created here. Each implemented as a room-in-room concept, the rooms can be individually adapted to each event. A special highlight here is that the adjacent players‘ tunnel can be used independently.
